Samara enjoys a yellowfin tuna bite arriving in early May. Dorado when the rains start in July/August. When the water is clear, a Wahoo can take the bait. Inshore fishing is excellent year round. You can expect to see cubera snapper, rock snapper, roosterfish, grouper, amberjack, jacks, horse eye jacks, blue jacks and sierra mackerel, among other inshore fish. All fishing gear and bait are included.

This small town located near the entrance to the Cloud Forest, was founded by the Quaker or vaquera community that migrated from North America to Costa Rica in the 1950s.
