CHILL MONTEVERDE

The Zipline Adventure will have you exploring the air of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. This amazing forest is an example of the vast biodiversity of Costa Rica. The cloud forest shelters countless wildlife species, tens of thousands of diverse insects. 2,500 species of plants (420 are strictly orchids), 400 varieties of birds, over 100 types of mammals. Including jaguars, ocelots and the colorfully plumed quetzal. This tour will have you walking high in the air. Between ziplines,  countless plants, flowers, and animals, you will have an unforgettable time exploring the amazing biodiversity of the area.

The sanctuary was born through the cooperation with the Caribbean Sloth Sanctuary, a foundation that shares our vision of conservation, and has worked in the rescue, conservation, reintroduction, and monitoring of sloths in their natural habitat for over 20 years.

A natural exhibit where sloths can travel freely between paths specially created so that they can roam among the trees and foliage of the exhibition. This provides a safe distance that allows observation while preventing as much stress on the animals as possible. These beautiful mammals have arrived at our sanctuary as refugees from the effects of poaching, habitat destruction, orphanage, illness and accidents among other reasons that prevent them from being reintroduced to their natural habitat.
